Today I've been adding assets to the room and going over the lizards again as I'm finding they are fading, I guess it's due to handling it as much. This is how I done the vase
A concern that's resurfaced is how the perspective warp that will be applied to the wallpaper will work with the 2 point perspective? This is by far the slowest progressing piece I've ever done. I also added a crown, bracelets the a cat I've not done the tail in yet as this positioning will be dictated by the direction of the curtain. I'd been toying with the idea of including smoke to help direct the flow, but the more I analyse the picture, the more I feel this is unnecessary. So what's left? The fireplace, grill and bricks, something on the table like an incense burner, maybe more jewellery. Something on the centre of the fire place, was thinking a locked box with like an eye carved into it. Curls on the pillars of the grandfather clock and curtains and a moon. Plus since most of my water based texture tests were done on carbon paper, I need to see how they'll work with this paper as it's made of cotton. I'm itching to apply the ink! I don't see any harm in applying the outline to say the lizards and ornaments. I've still got the best part of four weeks left so. All Good.
